Fluidised cleaning bed is an advanced cleaning equipment, which is widely used in industrial fields that require efficient and non-destructive cleaning, such as mould manufacturing, automotive parts and precision parts processing. By fluidising the cleaning medium and using heated airflow, the fluidised cleaning bed can effectively remove oil, oxides and residues from the surface of the workpiece, ensuring that the cleaned parts are as good as new. The following is the specific process and principle of fluidised cleaning bed for cleaning workpieces.
1. Principle of operation: fluidised bed technology
The core principle of the fluidised cleaning bed is the fluidisation of fine cleaning media particles (usually aluminium oxides or sand particles), i.e. their suspension in the cleaning tank by means of high temperature air flow. This fluidised cleaning medium comes into uniform contact with the surface of the workpiece and removes surface impurities quickly and thoroughly. In addition, fluidised bed equipment is usually equipped with a temperature control system to ensure that the cleaning temperature is within a range suitable for the material of the workpiece and to avoid damage to the workpiece caused by excessive temperatures.
2. Operating procedures: steps for efficient cleaning of workpieces
In the actual cleaning operation, the cleaning medium first needs to be preheated to the working temperature, usually between 400°C and 550°C. The cleaning medium is then preheated to the working temperature. After the workpiece is put into the fluidised cleaning bed, through the constant impact and contact of high temperature medium, the oil, coating and oxidised layer on the surface is rapidly decomposed and stripped. The entire cleaning process usually lasts from a few minutes to ten minutes, depending on the thickness of the dirt on the surface of the workpiece.
3. Cooling treatment after cleaning
After completing the cleaning, the workpiece should be removed and cooled. The workpiece can be cooled naturally in the air or placed in a cooling bath to avoid surface stress cracks caused by sudden temperature drops. Ensure that the workpiece is completely cooled before further processing or use to prevent residual heat from affecting the structural properties of the workpiece.
4. Advantages of fluidised cleaning bed applications
Compared with traditional chemical or mechanical cleaning, fluidised cleaning bedss have the following obvious advantages:
- environmental: No need to use chemical cleaning agents, reducing environmental pollution;
- Uniformity of cleaning: Comprehensive coverage of fluidising media for workpieces with complex shapes;
- high efficiency: The high temperature cleaning process removes surface dirt quickly;
- Simple maintenance: Fluidised bed equipment is simple in construction and easy to maintain on a daily basis.
